AI Developer in Cheshire, Warrington

Due to the continued expansion of the business, an exciting new position has arisen for an AI Developer to join the team at the Sunbelt Rentals support centre in Warrington. We are looking for an AI Developer to design, build and enhance practical AI-enabled solutions that sit mainly within the Salesforce stack. The role will focus on improving business processes, user productivity, data usage and customer-facing workflows by combining Salesforce platform capability with modern AI services, automation and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI-driven solutions inside Salesforce using declarative tools, Agentforce, Apex and API-based integrations.
• Work with stakeholders to identify use cases across sales, service and operational teams and transform them into deliverable solutions.
• Build and maintain automations using Flow, prompt-driven experiences, copilots or external AI services where appropriate.
• Support solution design across data models, security, governance, testing and deployment.
• Create technical documentation, reusable components and support materials for ongoing maintenance.
• Monitor performance, adoption, output quality and risk controls for AI-enabled processes.
• Work closely with admins, developers, analysts and business owners to continuously improve delivered solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience building solutions in Salesforce using Agentforce, Flow, Apex, Lightning components and platform configuration.
• Good understanding of Salesforce data structures, security model, integrations and release practices.
• Ability to work confidently across multiple clouds, especially sales and service related processes.
• Practical experience with AI services, prompt design, automation patterns and API-based integrations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into safe, reliable and measurable AI use cases.
• Comfort working with JSON, REST APIs, middleware or workflow tools that support Salesforce solutions.
