Based at our Wembley Film & TV facility, the Department Supervisor is a key operational leader within Sunbelt Rentals' Film & TV Lighting Division. Working under the direction of the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day preparation, testing, dispatch and return of professional film lighting equipment, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and operational efficiency are maintained.
Leading a team of Equipment Technicians and Warehouse Operatives, you will manage the workflow across key equipment departments, including LED Lighting & Fixtures, Consumables, Stands & Grip, and Cable & Power Distribution. Working closely with the Rental Office, Warehouse and Transport teams, you'll ensure equipment is production-ready, customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, and operational performance meets the demands of the Film, Television, Broadcast and Live Events industries.
About You
- Experience working within a warehouse environment. (Essential)
- A working knowledge of film and television production equipment. (Essential)
- Familiarity with film lighting equipment β including LED fixtures, tungsten, HMI and grip accessories. (Essential)
- Ability to oversee a team to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines. (Essential)
- Good attention to detail with accurate record-keeping skills. (Essential)
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations relevant to warehouse operations. (Essential)
The role is based in Wembley. The role will require early starts, late finishes and occasional weekend working in line with Company policy.
