About The Role
Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business? We are looking for a talented Trainee HGV Driver to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
What will you be doing?
- Working towards gaining specialised knowledge and skills to operate commercial vehicles for the transportation of goods
- Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
- Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
- Ensuring that legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times

About You
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of driving license category B – with no more than 6 points
- Previous driving experience desirable, however not essential
- A proactive approach to new training opportunities, and the ability to act on feedback to make improvements
- Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers
- A polite manner at all times when visiting customer premises
- Good geographical knowledge and industry experience (desirable)
- Knowledge of IT systems (desirable)
