Due to the continued expansion of the business, an exciting new position has arisen for a Pricing Manager to come and join the team at the Sunbelt Rentals support centre in Warrington.
The key duties of the role will be supporting the Director of Business Intelligence in duties that include preparing pricing information, setting pricing strategy, providing value‐add data and analysis to the finance and operational communities. As the business becomes more focused on data and interrogation this will be a key position and department in the future of the business, and an excellent opportunity for somebody to develop in their career progression.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
- To utilise Insight (Power BI) to produce and push reports to finance and the operational business
- Provide added value analysis for the finance team and assist in preparation of performance reports
- Ad hoc analysis – e.g. lapsed customers, key account performance, under‐performing asset classes
- Assist the Sales Directors and Director of Business Intelligence to set pricing strategy
- Assist in the preparation of revenue budgets and forecasts
- Analyse and maintain target pricing/rates and assess new product pricing
- Assist the bids and tenders' team in the preparation of pricing and target rates
- Advise and challenge sales communities on rental rates, making sensible commercial decisions

To succeed in this role you will bring the following skill‐set and behaviours:
- Part Qualified or higher in a professional Accounting Qualification
- Experience working in a large organisation
- Highly proficient IT skills – Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
- Experience using Power BI would be an advantage
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Keen attention to detail and analysis
- Exceptional communication skills including negotiating and influencing.
- Comfortable using your own judgment and initiative to make decisions in line with our company policies and pricing structures
