About The Role

Recruiting for multiple positions working a weekly rotating shift pattern of 06:00 - 15:00 and 11:00 - 20:00.

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing Film & TV division? We are looking for talented HGV Drivers to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries of film lighting equipment to and from production locations, studios and depot sites across the UK.

What will you be doing?

  • Operating commercial vehicles for the transportation of film and television lighting equipment.
  • Collect and deliver film and television lighting equipment to production locations, studios, stages and other sites across the UK.
  • Assist the crew with loading all equipment safely and securely onto the vehicle prior to departure, using appropriate restraints and load protection at all times.
  • Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey.
  • Represent Sunbelt Film & TV professionally at all times when dealing with production companies, freelance crew and location contacts.
  • Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times.

About You

  • Minimum of driving license category C – with no more than 6 points.
  • CPC Certified and tachograph card.
  • Demonstrable HGV Driver experience in a multi-drop or logistics role.
  • Good geographical knowledge of London and the wider UK, including the ability to plan and navigate routes efficiently.
  • Ability to use navigation and transport apps.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to support our customers when attending their premises.
  • Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers, including loading, load restraint and vehicle weight compliance.
  • Experience of working in or delivering to film, television or live events (desirable).
  • Forklift or pallet truck experience (desirable).
