We are currently recruiting for a Lighting Maintenance Technician. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in Film & TV who want to see and feel the impact of their work in a hands-on, operational, service-focused environment.

Responsibilities include delivering electrical and electronic engineering standards in line with best practice and company guidelines.

You will support the Maintenance team by ensuring safety and compliance while repairing electrical and electronic equipment according to manufacturer specifications and current regulations.

Your duties will involve repairing, maintaining, and PAT testing film and TV lighting equipment, including:

  • High frequency electronic ballasts
  • LED, tungsten, and HMI lighting fixtures up to 24kW
  • Power supplies
  • Dimmers
  • Mains distribution equipment up to 400A
  • Cables

Work may require visiting sites or attending training courses alone or with colleagues, potentially involving overnight stays.

You will ensure all work complies with specifications, documentation, and testing activities, maintaining high standards of quality.

  • BTEC Diploma/Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • City & Guilds in Electronic Servicing
  • Experience in electronic fault finding at the component level
  • Experience with test equipment such as a digital multimeter and oscilloscope
