About The Role

Are you ready to be a part of our team in Sunbelt Rentals? We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team supporting hire plant equipment within the petrochemical and industrial sector. The role involves maintenance, inspection, fault finding and repair of diesel driven plant, including generators, compressors, pumps and associated auxiliary equipment, used on customer sites. The successful candidate will also take part in an on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support to our industrial and petrochemical customers when required.

What will you be doing?

  • Service, inspect, calibrate and certificate equipment
  • Repair a wide range of equipment including welding equipment, generators, compressors and electrical tools
  • Ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality and compliance

About You

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience working on diesel driven plant, such as generators, compressors and pumps
  • Experience within petrochemical or heavy industrial environments
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding, maintenance and repair skills
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rota
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to work to site procedures
  • Full UK manual driving license is essential
