As a Service Centre Manager, you will take full accountability for the day-to-day running and overall performance of a busy Service Centre. Your focus will be on delivering strong commercial results while ensuring an excellent experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities:
  • Driving performance to ensure the Service Centre meets agreed targets and financial budgets, with a strong focus on cost control
  • Leading, coaching and motivating your team to create a positive, high-performing working environment
  • Preparing and managing monthly reporting, including full responsibility for profit and loss
  • Collaborating with the Sales team to identify opportunities, win new business and support growth
  • Making sure all operations are carried out safely and in line with Health and Safety policies
  • Promoting clear, consistent communication across the team to keep everyone informed and aligned

About You

When you join our team, we’ll make sure you have everything you need to succeed from day one. We’ll work closely with you to understand your development goals, discuss your training requirements and support your ongoing career progression in line with your future ambitions. To be considered for the Service Centre Manager position, you’ll ideally have experience in a similar operational or branch management role, along with the following capabilities:

  • A proven track record of leading teams, with the ability to inspire, support and develop individuals to achieve both personal and collective success
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to build effective working relationships across teams
  • A solid understanding of commercial performance and financial awareness
  • Experience managing budgets and interpreting profit and loss accounts
  • Competent IT skills, including practical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective organisational and planning abilities, with attention to detail
  • A self-driven approach with high standards and a strong focus on achieving results
  • A sound working knowledge of Health and Safety practices and their application in the workplace
  • A full, valid UK driving licence
