Sunbelt Fire is seeking a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing and Content Coordinator to support our marketing efforts across digital channels. This role is responsible for creating, managing, and publishing content that drives engagement, supports sales initiatives, strengthens our brand presence, and helps tell the stories of the fire departments, customers, and communities we serve. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, understands digital marketing fundamentals, can work within WordPress and email marketing platforms, and is comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Copywriting
    • Write and publish blog articles, customer success stories, product spotlights, and industry-related content.
    • Create compelling social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
    • Develop written content for brochures, flyers, sales collateral, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.
    • Assist with content planning and editorial calendar management.
  • Website Management
    • Build and update landing pages within WordPress.
    • Upload and format website content including blogs, product pages, event pages, and promotional campaigns.
    • Ensure website content is accurate, optimized, and aligned with brand standards.
    • Assist with basic SEO best practices including metadata, keywords, internal linking, and content optimization.
  • Email Marketing
    • Create and deploy email marketing campaigns, newsletters, product promotions, and event communications.
    • Manage email lists and audience segmentation.
    • Monitor email performance metrics and recommend improvements.
    • Support lead nurturing campaigns and customer communications.
  • Social Media Management
    • Schedule and publish social media content.
    • Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages when appropriate.
    • Assist in capturing and organizing photos, videos, and customer stories for future content use.
    • Support conference, event, and product launch promotions.
  • Marketing Support
    • Coordinate content requests from sales, service, and leadership teams.
    • Maintain marketing asset libraries and content archives.
    • Assist with trade shows, customer events, open houses, and other marketing initiatives.
    • Support paid advertising campaigns with content and creative development.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or communications.
  • Advanced graphic design experience using Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Photography / videography and editing experience.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience working within WordPress.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, or similar.
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices (preferred).
  • Experience with Google Analytics (preferred).
  • Experience in B2B, manufacturing, public safety, emergency services, or industrial industries (preferred).

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid Remote
  • Primary requirement is to be within a 90-minute drive of one of our physical locations: Birmingham, AL – Fairhope, AL – Houma, LA

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift/move 10–25 pounds occasionally.

Position Type: full time, Monday Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with occasional extended hours as needed.

Travel: occasional travel for conferences, events, trade shows, or customer visits.
