Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.30pm

Contract: Permanent - 52 Weeks

Overview

In a growing education setting that values clinical support, Outcomes First Group is looking for a Lead Clinician to manage the in‑house Clinical Team at Brick Lane School. This role combines clinical leadership with a therapy caseload, working closely with Senior Leadership and the Regional Clinical Lead to deliver specialist assessments and interventions that support pupils with complex neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health needs.

Responsibilities

  • The postholder will clinically lead the team and maintain a therapeutic caseload, delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students presenting with complex profiles.
  • Develop and implement person‑centred assessment and intervention strategies in line with EHCP plans.
  • Coach and supervise the onsite clinical team, fostering professional growth and high standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with the School SLT and Regional Clinical Lead to shape service development and integrate evidence‑based practices.
  • Maintain safeguarding culture, ensuring pupils are heard, respected and involved in decisions that affect them.

Essential Criteria

  • BSc or MSc in Speech & Language or Occupational Therapy with registration as a SaLT / OT (HCPC and RCSLT).
  • Valid and up‑to‑date registration and membership of relevant professional body (e.g., BPS).
  • Experience working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
  • Strong report writing skills related to clinical and research activities.
  • Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt within a dynamic, developing clinical service.
  • Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty (preferred).
