About the Role
The Homecare Manager – Branded Dermatology (UK) will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the Homecare service model for Sun Pharma’s branded dermatology portfolio in the UK. This includes working closely with homecare providers, NHS stakeholders, specialty pharmacies, and the Sun Pharma commercial team to ensure a seamless patient experience, operational excellence, and robust commercial performance. This role is key to supporting the launch and growth of Sun Pharma’s dermatology brands and ensuring high-quality, patient‑centric delivery of homecare and support services across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Homecare Strategy & Operations
- Lead the development and execution of a national Homecare strategy for branded dermatology products.
- Manage relationships with external Homecare providers, specialty pharmacies, and logistics partners.
- Oversee contract negotiation, performance monitoring, KPIs, and service-level agreements.
- Ensure Homecare pathways support optimal patient access, adherence, and clinical outcomes.
- Build strong working relationships with NHS stakeholders including Medicines Management, Homecare teams, Hospital Trusts, Dermatology departments, and procurement.
- Partner with Market Access, Sales, and Medical to ensure alignment of Homecare services with regional market dynamics.
- Provide expert consultation on Homecare processes during hospital formulary submissions, pathway discussions, and funding conversations.
- Ensure all Homecare activities comply with UK regulations including MHRA guidance, NHMC frameworks, ABPI Code of Practice, and local NHS Trust requirements.
- Maintain robust governance for data privacy, pharmacovigilance, and patient safety.
- Continuously improve the patient journey by identifying bottlenecks and implementing service enhancements.
- Monitor patient outcomes, satisfaction, and adherence within the Homecare pathway.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs on patient education, support programs, and safety monitoring.
- Work closely with Brand Teams, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting and operational efficiency.
- Support dermatology product launches with Homecare pathway mapping, provider readiness, and stakeholder education.
- Provide field-based and HQ colleagues with Homecare insights to shape strategy and tactical plans.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working in UK pharma across Homecare, Market Access, Commercial, or Service Delivery roles.
- Strong understanding of UK Homecare frameworks, NHS governance, and specialty medicines distribution.
- Demonstrated experience managing third-party providers (Homecare companies, specialty pharmacies, logistics).
- Knowledge of dermatology or immunology therapy areas strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
