Patent Prosecution Project Manager

As a Patent Prosecution Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing patent filing requests. You will work closely with clients, translators, and internal teams to ensure that all requests are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. Your role will involve coordinating various aspects of patent filings, including budgeting, scheduling, docketing, document submission, and quality assurance.
This is a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor requested translations and filings, ensuing all related deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Manage project finances
Essential Skills and Required Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting.
- Experience working with EP, PCT and foreign applications.
- Strong organizational, leadership and management abilities.
- Significant experience managing complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Successful track record of successful collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows.
- Comfort working with CAT tools (memoQ fluency a plus) and various Machine Translation engines.
- Ability to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance.
- Skilled at training internal and external users in MTPE & TM workflows.
- Skilled at vendor recruitment and negotiations.
