As a pivotal member of the Translation Project Management team, the role of Litigation Translation Project Manager will oversee and manage translation projects for litigation cases and other translation requests. This role will collaborate and coordinate daily with multiple internal team members, linguists, and client relationship managers. This role will be responsible for managing complex, high-volume translation projects in the Intellectual Property and Litigation space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate translation projects for litigation cases, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of translated materials.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for attorneys, clients, and translation vendors, managing expectations and project timelines.
- Coordinate with worldwide translation vendors throughout the project timeline, ensuring quality, formatting, budget, and deadline expectations are consistently met.
- Monitor project budgets, negotiate costs, and manage tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Utilize translation management systems (TMS), CAT tools, and other relevant software to streamline workflows and ensure efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to optimize translation workflows and improve efficiency in managing litigation-related translation projects.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of translations project management experience in legal or litigation translation services.
