Job Summary
As a Pool Supervisor, you will oversee the operation of the pool area, ensuring high standards of safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. You will manage a team of Pool Attendants, monitor pool maintenance, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires strong supervisory skills and a thorough understanding of pool operations.
Job Duties
- Supervise and train Pool Attendants, ensuring they meet all operational and safety requirements.
- Meet and exceed annual operating targets for the pool area, including budget management and resource allocation.
- Monitor health and safety within the pool complex, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulations.
- Ensure water quality standards are consistently met, conducting regular checks and coordinating any necessary actions.
- Monitor contractors and pool plant maintenance, ensuring timely and effective completion of tasks.
- Review and enforce adherence to risk assessments, ensuring all safety procedures are followed.
- Ensure all staff are trained and up to date with necessary qualifications and safety procedures.
Requirements
- National Pool Lifeguard qualification (NPLQ) is an advantage but not essential. Full training available.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a pool environment.
- Proven competence in pool operations and plant room management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to swim.
- This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including a check against the Children's Barred List.
