About the role

Joining Aura Global is an opportunity to take the next step in your creative career.

You'll become part of a busy, collaborative studio where ideas are shared openly, questions are encouraged and every project is an opportunity to learn.

Working alongside experienced Design Directors and Senior Designers, you'll contribute to a wide range of FMCG packaging and branding projects, with food at the heart of much of what we do.

You'll be involved from the beginning of a project, developing ideas and creative routes through to finished design.

Whether you're working on a live brief, supporting a pitch or contributing to an internal creative session, you'll have the opportunity to make your voice heard.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Developing creative concepts across FMCG packaging and branding projects.
  • Contributing ideas from the early stages of a brief through to finished design.
  • Balancing creative thinking with commercial understanding and the needs of the brand, retailer and consumer.
  • Working collaboratively with Client Services and specialist teams across photography, artwork and production.
  • Developing your understanding of the FMCG design process, including print and production.
  • Working with our in-house photography studio and learning how food photography can strengthen packaging concepts and create appetite appeal.
  • Presenting your ideas and explaining your creative thinking to colleagues and clients.
  • Using Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Firefly, as part of your everyday creative workflow.
  • Keeping curious about packaging, retail, shopper behaviour, typography, materials and changing consumer trends.
  • What you'll bring
  • 3-5 years' experience within an FMCG packaging or branding agency.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong creative thinking from concept through to finished design.
  • A genuine passion for FMCG packaging, branding and everything tactile.
  • Curiosity about brands, retail, materials, typography and consumer trends.
  • An understanding of brand guidelines and an eagerness to learn how they're created, developed and applied.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to contribute your ideas.
  • A basic understanding of print and production, with a desire to deepen your knowledge.
  • A collaborative mindset, positive attitude and willingness to learn from feedback.
  • Experience using collaborative platforms such as Miro is desirable.
  • A strong understanding of UK and US retail markets. (Not essential but it's a big plus)
  • How we work

We believe some of the best creative thinking happens when we're together, and some needs space to focus.

This is a hybrid role, combining time in our Bradford studio with the flexibility to work from home.

You'll need to be comfortable making the commute into the studio as a regular part of your working week.

Why Aura Global?

This is an opportunity to join a growing creative team, work on packaging for leading retailers and consumer brands, and continue developing your creative career alongside experienced designers.

If you're curious, creative and passionate about packaging, we'd love to hear from you.
