About the Role
As a Designer at SUMWON STUDIOS, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth product development, trading decisions, and market analysis. We’re looking for a highly creative and trend‑driven Fashion Designer who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. You’ll be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing fresh collections aligned with market trends, customer demands, and brand identity. What you’ll do
- Design and develop trend-driven apparel collections for our e‑commerce platform across multiple categories.
- Conduct seasonal and weekly trend research, identifying key silhouettes, colors, prints, and details.
- Create CADs, technical sketches, and detailed design packages for production.
- Collaborate closely with buying, merchandising, and production teams to ensure cohesive and timely product drops.
- Work within tight deadlines to respond to emerging trends and viral moments with quick design turnarounds.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to guide future designs and optimize bestsellers.
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity and global fashion market movements.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- 2+ years of design experience in fast fashion, ideally within an e‑commerce environment.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and trims.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Excellent sense of trend forecasting, styling, and fashion culture.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator.
