About the team

The Central Marketing Creative Team sits at the heart of how SumUp shows up in the world, shaping the visual identity of a brand trusted by over 4 million small businesses across 37 markets. Within the team, the Brand pillar owns everything from campaign creative and social content to event design and brand governance, ensuring SumUp looks and feels consistent wherever it appears. We're a collaborative, craft-focused group that moves fast, holds high standards, and genuinely cares about the quality of what we put out, and this role sits right at the centre of that. This is an opportunity to join a high-output creative team at a pivotal moment, as we scale our brand presence and increase the volume and ambition of our marketing campaigns. You'll report directly to the Head of Brand and Marketing Design and work day-to-day alongside designers, campaign managers, content strategists, and channel specialists.

What you'll do

  • Design and deliver on-brand assets across the full marketing funnel, for both internal and external audiences, including campaigns, paid and organic social, email, display, OOH, print, web, and event materials.
  • Translate briefs and creative direction into polished, production-ready executions that reflect SumUp's visual identity with accuracy and craft.
  • Collaborate with campaign managers, copywriters, and channel specialists to deliver integrated creative on time and to brief.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicating clearly on status, blockers, and delivery timelines.
  • Contribute to design reviews, incorporate feedback iteratively, and bring ideas to the table at brief stage — not just at execution.

You'll be great for this role if…

  • Proven experience executing brand and marketing design across a broad range of formats and channels, from digital to print.
  • Strong command of typography, layout, colour theory, and design principles, with a sharp eye for craft and consistency.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with the ability to move efficiently between tools and adapt to new workflows.
  • Comfort working at pace across multiple briefs, adapting quickly to changing priorities without losing attention to detail.
  • Experience applying brand guidelines across different touchpoints, whether in-house, at an agency, or both.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and creative automation as part of an everyday design workflow is a real bonus.

Why you should join SumUp

  • Opportunity to work with a truly global, multicultural team from our central Covent Garden location, wrapped in historic charm and modern flair. This involves an office-first setup.
  • Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: be part of a workplace that values and promotes diversity, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone's perspectives are respected and embraced.
  • Generous time off: enjoy 28 days of paid leave, plus bank holidays and special leaves.
  • A dedicated annual L&D budget for attending conferences and/or advancing your career through further education.
  • Health matters: private health insurance, including optical and dental.

  • Referral Bonus: earn additional rewards by referring talented individuals to join the SumUp team.
