You will play a critical role in aligning client business and technical requirements with our solution, guiding prospects through evaluation and decision-making stages while ensuring clarity around system capabilities, integration expectations, and compliance considerations. This position is focused on enabling informed decisions and driving opportunities forward, while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure smooth transition into implementation.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Support prospective Tier-3 clients throughout the pre-sales journey, helping guide them from initial engagement through evaluation and toward contract signing.
- Engage with clients via chat and calls to understand their business context, transaction monitoring and anti-fraud needs, and key risk and compliance requirements.
- Collect, clarify, and validate business and technical requirements to ensure alignment between client expectations and Sumsub’s solution.
- Occasionally deliver product demos to help clients understand relevant use cases, capabilities, and value of the platform.
- Support clients during testing and evaluation phases by helping them understand system behaviour, configuration options, and expected outcomes.
- Explain integration approaches, requirements, and workflows, and ensure a smooth handover to Solution Architects for technical implementation.
- Act as a trusted point of contact during the decision-making phase, helping clients navigate questions related to AML, fraud prevention, and transaction monitoring concepts.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Solution Architects, Product, and Compliance teams to share client feedback and support continuous improvement of the solution and pre-sales processes.
About You:
- Familiarity with AML and financial crime prevention concepts, including transaction monitoring, crypto compliance and Travel Rule requirements, as well as behavioural risk signals and anti-fraud approaches, with the ability to discuss these topics in a practical, business-oriented way.
- Comfortable engaging in pre-sales technical discussions, including reviewing APIs, supporting testing and evaluation phases, and collaborating with client technical teams prior to implementation handover.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical and regulatory topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Gather, validate, and document business and technical requirements using a standardised requirements template, ensuring consistency and alignment.
- Confident managing multiple prospects in parallel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on scalability, efficiency, and progressing opportunities toward closure.
