Now we are looking for a Community Manager to join our Social Media Team. This role includes community building across the company’s main social media platforms and Reddit, as well as strengthening the brand voice and increasing user engagement with the company’s content.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Build and grow Sumsub’s community by actively engaging in discussions, commenting, and responding to audiences on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Reddit.
- Own Sumsub’s corporate Reddit community by creating content, moderating discussions, and ensuring all conversations remain professional, constructive, and aligned with the brand’s tone of voice.
- Engage with relevant subreddits by contributing to discussions and sharing expert insights on digital identity verification, compliance, AI fraud, and fraud prevention.
- Monitor conversations and mentions related to Sumsub, competitors, and key industry topics through social listening.
- Track, analyze, and report on community performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Legal teams to ensure messaging accuracy and relevance within community discussions.
About You:
- 2+ years of in-house or agency experience in community building and management, demonstrating measurable growth in community size, engagement rate, and followers, preferably within B2B or tech-driven brands.
- Native English speaker or fluent in English (C1+).
- Strong copywriting and conversational writing skills, with a solid understanding of tone of voice and audience expectations across platforms like LinkedIn, Reddit, and Medium.
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging in public discussions, asking questions, and responding to comments — including complex or sensitive topics.
- Have a sense of humor and are comfortable moving beyond overly formal or corporate language to humanize brand communication.
- Understands community dynamics and platform-specific rules (especially Reddit) and can engage authentically without sounding promotional.
- Calm and constructive when handling criticism or negative feedback.
