We’re hiring a Video Lead to help shape the next generation of talent-led video and podcast content for a fast-growing digital media business. This is a hands-on creative leadership role for someone with a genuinely strong editing background and a sharp eye for social-first storytelling.
We’re looking for someone who understands how modern audiences consume content across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Spotify video — someone who cares about pacing, visual identity, retention, emotion and making conversations feel visually engaging.
You’ll lead the visual direction across a slate of talent-led shows while still staying close to the edit yourself. This is not a role for someone who has moved too far away from the craft.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the visual direction across multiple long-form and short-form shows
- Editing premium long-form episodes and social-first short-form content
- Setting the creative standard across pacing, storytelling, graphics, motion and overall visual identity
- Helping develop repeatable social formats and content systems designed around audience retention and engagement
- Working closely with producers, talent and social teams to shape content ideas from development through to delivery
- Overseeing post-production workflows across editing, graphics, sound and delivery
- Managing and mentoring editors and creatives across the wider video team
- Improving workflows, creative processes and overall production quality across the business
- Staying close to trends across YouTube, podcasts, creator content and social video
What they’re looking for:
- Strong experience editing both long-form and short-form content professionally
- A portfolio/showreel that demonstrates strong creative instincts and visual storytelling
- Experience working on talent-led, entertainment, podcast or creator-focused content
- Strong understanding of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and platform-native editing styles
- High level of proficiency across Premiere Pro, After Effects and post-production workflows
- Someone with genuine creative taste and strong opinions on pacing, structure, hooks and storytelling
- Experience leading or mentoring other editors/creatives
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ideas-led production environment
Why this role:
- Opportunity to help shape the visual identity of a fast-growing media brand
- Huge creative ownership across both long-form and short-form output
- Work on personality-led content with a strong focus on audience growth and social performance
- Join a business building modern entertainment brands across podcasts, YouTube and social video
If this sounds like you - we'd love to hear from you.
