Overview

A top-creator founded media team is looking for an Edit Producer to shape high-performing content across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. This role sits at the centre of pre-production, story development and the edit process. Ideal for someone who understands how to craft social-first narratives that keep audiences watching.

What You’ll Do

Pre-Production & Story

• Lead scripting, research, and planning for shoots.
• Build clear story structures and hit-lists with a strong sense of pacing and narrative.
• Translate transcripts and rushes into structured edit plans.

Edit Management

• Work closely with editors, providing notes, direction and creative feedback.
• Review cuts, sharpen story beats and ensure content meets brand quality.
• Manage titles, thumbnails and packaging for YouTube and other platforms.

Content Development

• Monitor trends, titles and formats performing well across social.
• Develop ideas based on platform insights and competitive analysis.
• Ideate and conceptualise new concepts aligned to the channel’s tone and audience.

Performance & Optimisation

• Analyse content performance to identify patterns and improvement opportunities.
• Use data and feedback to guide future creative decisions and strategy across platforms.

General Channel Support

• Contribute to multi-platform strategy across YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.
• Bring creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm for social-first storytelling.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as an Edit Producer or similar role in social-first content.
• Strong story instincts for both long-form and short-form video.
• Ability to manage editors and elevate a narrative through notes and structure.
• Deep understanding of YouTube formats, retention, pacing and packaging.
• Experience with ideation, scripting and creating story arcs.
• Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a small, agile team.
• Genuine passion for creator-led content and digital storytelling.
