We are partnering with a fast-growing, creator-led media brand to hire a Senior Video Editor who will play a key role in shaping the quality and direction of their content. The successful candidate will work closely with founders and producers, contributing not only to execution but also to the creative development of content.

The Senior Video Editor will be responsible for editing high-performing, personality-led content across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, with a strong focus on storytelling, pacing and audience retention. You will take ownership of the edit from raw footage through to final delivery, ensuring each piece of content is engaging, polished and aligned with the brand’s tone and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit long-form and short-form video content for digital and social platforms.
  • Structure edits to maximise audience retention, engagement and watch time.
  • Shape narrative flow, pacing and timing to deliver compelling, story-driven content.
  • Use music, sound design and visual rhythm to enhance tone and impact.
  • Apply colour grading and finishing techniques to ensure a high production standard.
  • Incorporate graphics and on-screen elements where appropriate to support storytelling.
  • Work closely with producers and founders to refine content and develop creative ideas.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced production environment.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Video Editor within a digital, social or creator-led environment.
  • Deep understanding of audience behaviour, including hooks, pacing and retention strategies.
  • Strong storytelling ability with a clear sense of structure and timing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of After Effects.
  • Experience working collaboratively with creative teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to contribute ideas and take ownership of the creative output.
  • Experience working on high-performing YouTube or creator-led channels.
  • Background in entertainment, interview or personality-led content formats.
  • Strong instinct for comedic timing and cultural relevance.
