We’re working with a large, well-backed content business investing heavily into podcasts and video-led formats. They’re now hiring a Podcast Director to lead and scale a growing portfolio of shows across multiple genres and platforms. This is a senior leadership role with real ownership: shaping strategy, building a slate of content, and driving long-term audience and commercial growth.
The Role
You’ll sit across the full podcast ecosystem from idea through to distribution and monetisation. You’ll be responsible for defining the content strategy, growing the network, and ensuring shows are built to perform across both audio and video. You’ll also play a key role in building out the team and creating a structure that allows content to scale.
What you’ll be doing
- Defining and leading the overall podcast strategy
- Developing new show concepts, formats, and talent relationships
- Overseeing production output across multiple shows
- Driving audience growth across audio platforms, YouTube, and social
- Working closely with commercial teams on revenue and partnerships
