We’re looking for a YouTube Editor with strong DaVinci Resolve experience to cut a premium factual entertainment series featuring high-profile talent. This isn’t traditional broadcast editing. We’re looking for someone who understands modern YouTube storytelling - pacing, momentum, retention and platform-native editing styles that keep audiences engaged without losing editorial quality. The content combines studio discussion, social media clips, humour, factual storytelling and reaction-driven moments into highly engaging longform episodes built specifically for YouTube audiences.
The Role
- Editing longform YouTube episodes from rushes through to final delivery.
- Editing longform YouTube episodes in DaVinci Resolve.
- Building engaging edits that prioritise pacing and audience retention.
- Shaping story structure, momentum and visual rhythm.
- Integrating graphics, UGC, social content and mixed-media assets.
- Collaborating closely with producers and editorial teams.
- Supporting cutdowns and additional social edits where needed.
- Managing multiple episodes and quick turnaround timelines.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has strong experience editing YouTube-first or digital-native content.
- Is highly proficient in DaVinci Resolve.
- Understands YouTube visual language and retention editing.
- Has excellent storytelling and pacing instincts.
- Is confident working with graphics, text and mixed-media workflows.
- Has strong comedic timing and reaction-editing instincts.
- Works well collaboratively in fast-moving production environments.
