The Opportunity
We are working with a fast-growing entertainment and content business looking for a talented
Social Media Manager to help grow the digital presence of a portfolio of personality-led podcasts and shows.
Working closely with producers, editors, talent and the wider creative team, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day social content, helping turn standout podcast moments and creator-led content into engaging, platform-native formats.
The role will cover everything from content planning and publishing through to community growth, creative campaigns and performance analysis, with a strong focus on growing audiences across Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube and other major social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and help deliver the social media strategy across a portfolio of podcast and creator-led brands.
- Create original, platform-native content across Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, X, Facebook and Linked In.
- Turn long-form podcast and video content into engaging clips, social-first formats and standout moments.
- Manage social content calendars around episode releases, show launches, campaigns and key dates.
- Work closely with producers and editors to identify the strongest content opportunities.
- Develop creative social campaigns designed to drive reach, conversation and audience growth.
- Write engaging captions, headlines and social copy tailored to each show’s tone of voice.
- Build and engage communities through active audience interaction and social storytelling.
- Identify opportunities for creator collaborations, influencer partnerships and cross-promotion.
- Track social performance, report on key metrics and use audience insight to optimise future content.
- Adapt content and creative ideas based on platform trends, audience behaviour and performance.
- Work across multiple shows, tailoring content to different audiences, talent and formats.
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience managing and growing social media channels for a media, entertainment, creator or content-led brand.
- Good understanding of what performs across Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube and other social platforms.
- Strong creative instincts with the ability to identify engaging moments and develop fresh content ideas.
- Experience creating and delivering organic social campaigns.
- Comfortable working with long-form video and podcast content and repurposing it for social.
- Experience using social analytics and audience insights to inform content decisions.
- Competent with basic image and video editing tools such as Canva, Cap Cut or Adobe.
- Strong copywriting skills with an understanding of brand voice and tone.
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple shows, campaigns and deadlines.
- Able to react quickly to trends, cultural moments and last-minute opportunities.
- A genuine interest in podcasts, creators and personality-led entertainment content would be highly desirable.
