This is a senior leadership role overseeing the strategy, development, production, audience growth, and commercial performance of a growing slate of global podcast and video formats. The company already operates at significant scale across digital media and content, with ambitious plans to expand its presence across both the UK and US markets through original IP, creator partnerships, and premium long‑form content.
We’re looking for someone who understands how modern media brands are built. Where podcasts are not just audio products, but full content ecosystems spanning YouTube, clips, distribution, sponsorship, social, talent, and community. You’ll work closely with founders, senior leadership, commercial teams, producers, and talent to shape the future direction of the podcast division globally.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the overall podcast and video strategy across the UK and US markets
- Overseeing the development and execution of original podcast formats, franchises, and talent-led shows
- Driving audience growth across YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, TikTok, Instagram, Shorts, and emerging platforms
- Managing and mentoring senior production, editorial, social, and growth teams
- Identifying new show opportunities, talent partnerships, and commercial expansion opportunities
- Owning performance analysis across content, audience retention, revenue, and platform growth
- Working closely with commercial and partnerships teams to maximise sponsorship, branded content, and monetisation opportunities
- Helping shape long‑term content strategy across video podcasts, creator IP, and platform expansion
- Building scalable production and publishing workflows across multiple shows and territories
- Acting as a senior voice internally across creative, commercial, audience, and talent conversations
- Leading high‑level relationships with creators, agents, platforms, studios, and brand partners
What we’re looking for:
- Significant experience leading podcasts, YouTube channels, or creator‑led media businesses at scale
- Strong understanding of modern YouTube‑first content strategy and audience growth
- Experience managing multiple shows, formats, or content brands simultaneously
- Deep understanding of video podcasts, platform distribution, audience retention, thumbnails/titles, and social amplification
- Strong commercial instincts with experience growing revenue through partnerships, sponsorships, or media IP
- Experience managing senior creative or production teams
- Ability to operate strategically while still being highly involved in creative and editorial direction
- Strong network across creators, podcasting, digital media, talent management, or entertainment
- Experience across both UK and US markets is highly desirable
- Comfortable operating in fast‑moving, entrepreneurial, creator‑led environments
Ideal backgrounds:
- Creator‑led media businesses
- Podcast studios and networks
- Digital publishers
- YouTube‑first media brands
- Talent‑led production companies
- Entertainment and creator economy businesses
- Audio platforms and podcast networks
The opportunity:
This is a rare opportunity to help shape a modern global media business at the intersection of creators, YouTube, podcasts, entertainment, and audience‑led storytelling.
