Freelance Video Editor – Factual Entertainment YouTube (Remote)

We’re looking for a Freelance Video Editor to edit long-form educational content for YouTube.

What You’ll Do

• Edit and produce engaging long-form videos that combine live action and animation.
• Conduct archive research to find stunning, high-quality visuals.
• Source, select, and integrate video, imagery and sound.
• Collaborate with creators and animators to ensure accuracy and strong storytelling.
• Add effective sound design and ensure all assets are rights-cleared.
• Keep up with the latest in editing software and YouTube best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in video editing, ideally for digital or YouTube content.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and Creative Cloud.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation integration.
• Strong documentary-style storytelling ability.
• Understanding of YouTube optimisation is a bonus.
• Attention to detail, solid organisation and a love for bringing complex ideas to life.
