Freelance Video Editor – Factual Entertainment YouTube (Remote)
We’re looking for a Freelance Video Editor to edit long-form educational content for YouTube.
What You’ll Do
- Edit and produce engaging long-form videos that combine live action and animation.
- Conduct archive research to find stunning, high-quality visuals.
- Source, select, and integrate video, imagery and sound.
- Collaborate with creators and animators to ensure accuracy and strong storytelling.
- Add effective sound design and ensure all assets are rights-cleared.
- Keep up with the latest in editing software and YouTube best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in video editing, ideally for digital or YouTube content.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and Creative Cloud.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation integration.
- Strong documentary-style storytelling ability.
- Understanding of YouTube optimisation is a bonus.
- Attention to detail, solid organisation and a love for bringing complex ideas to life.
