We are looking for a senior Content Director to take full ownership of social content strategy for a fast-growing digital publisher with an ambitious growth agenda across the UK and US. This role sits at the intersection of editorial thinking, creative direction and performance-led social strategy. You will design and run the content engine that drives sustained audience growth, authority and commercial impact.

Key responsibilities
- Content strategy and creative direction
- Own the end-to-end social content strategy across video, written and audio formats
- Shape distinctive formats, series and narratives that feel sharp and differentiated
- Translate insight and expertise into compelling, platform-native content
- Continually test and evolve ideas to drive consistent growth
- Design channel-specific strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and podcast platforms
- Lead experimentation around hooks, storytelling and structure
- Stay close to performance data and adapt quickly based on results
- Use paid media strategically to support organic growth
- Own the podcast roadmap as a central pillar within the wider content ecosystem
- Shape formats and themes to strengthen reach and authority
- Ensure integration between long-form and short-form distribution
- Build an efficient, structured content engine to maximise output and consistency
- Plan filming schedules, recording days and content calendars
- Direct editors, producers and freelance support where required
- Maintain a consistently high bar for clarity and creative execution
- Align content strategy with broader commercial objectives
- Design credible pathways from content to conversion
- Support campaigns, launches and key moments across the wider business
