A leading global consumer brand is looking for a Head of Social to define and lead its social-first strategy across key international markets. This role sits at the intersection of brand, culture, and performance - owning the global social vision while building engaged communities and driving meaningful connections with audiences worldwide. You will act as the strategic lead across all social channels, shaping how the brand shows up in culture and collaborates with athletes, creators, and fans. Working closely with brand, creative, digital, and regional teams, you will deliver a cohesive global social strategy that blends standout storytelling with data-led performance.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the global social media and community strategy across all key platforms
- Oversee the development and execution of social campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand and commercial objectives
- Act as the global point of leadership for social, partnering with regional teams to ensure consistency and local relevance
- Build and nurture engaged global communities, driving meaningful interaction and brand advocacy
- Collaborate with creative, influencer, and content teams to deliver best-in-class, culturally relevant work
- Lead social content planning, publishing, and governance across markets
- Oversee performance tracking, using insights to optimise campaigns and inform future strategy
- Manage relationships with key partners, platforms, and creators to maximise reach and impact

Requirements
- Proven experience leading global social media strategy within a brand or agency environment
- Strong understanding of social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Meta
- Experience building and managing communities at scale across multiple markets
- Track record of delivering culturally impactful and performance-driven social campaigns
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across global teams
- Highly strategic with a data-driven mindset and strong commercial awareness
- Passion for sport, culture, and storytelling is highly desirable
