What you’ll do
Summize Legal Engineers are at the intersection of legal and technology, helping to implement our customers by designing, troubleshooting, and building the Summize solution to enhance customer processes. Our Legal Engineers are both legal operations subject matter experts and implementation consultants. You will partner with the Implementation Managers to ensure customers are up and running within the committed time frame. Legal engineers will work with the customer to design and implement solutions suitable for their organisation, ensuring Summize delivers incomparable, yet measurable value. Responsibilities also include AI prompt engineering for legal software, creating AI tags in Microsoft Word, delivering comprehensive training sessions, and advising on best practices. You will be expected to become an expert in configuring and using AI prompts within the Summize platform.
In terms of your day to day you’ll be responsible for:
- Assisting in the set-up of the customer’s Summize instance by creating and reviewing contract types, engineering AI prompts and configuring workflows.
- Delivering on the scope of projects to a premium standard, consistently delivering on OKRs and targets.
- Engaging with stakeholders by attending pre-sales workshops to understand the full scope of a project.
- Leveraging product expertise to deliver best-in-class training sessions to end users.
- Deliver work against deadlines, leveraging AI and technology to streamline and standardise processes, ensuring work is of recognisable Summize standard.
- Share innovative ideas with Customer Success & Innovation peers to enhance processes and improve the overall customer experience.
- Attend daily Legal Engineering stand ups and report on work progress, blockers, or successful breakthroughs to the Legal Engineer Team Lead.
What you’ll bring
- Undergraduate degree (e.g. Bachelor’s degree) in a relevant subject such as Law, Business, Finance or similar (desirable).
- Professional experience with working and establishing relationships with clients or stakeholders in a fast-paced business environment (desirable).
- Keen interest in AI prompt engineering or AI processes within Legal Software, previous AI prompt experience is desirable.
- Previous experience in B2B, SaaS or Tech capacity.
- An interest in upcoming technologies & innovation.
- Ability to present to a range of audiences, and provide product demonstrations to users.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with systems such as HubSpot & Monday.com desirable.
