Summit Pools and Landscapes is looking for an experienced Skilled Landscape & Groundworks Labourer to join our team. We design and build high-quality swimming pools and outdoor spaces for residential clients. This is a varied, hands-on role offering the opportunity to work on distinctive projects involving pool construction, groundworks and hard landscaping.

We are looking for someone with practical landscaping or construction experience who can confidently complete skilled tasks, support the Site Foreman and take responsibility for preparing and maintaining their area of work.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out groundworks and hard landscaping tasks under the direction of the Site Foreman
  • Preparing ground, digging and constructing footings
  • Laying paving, patios, paths and edging to a high standard
  • Assisting with drainage, concrete work and pool construction
  • Installing fencing and completing general timber work
  • Mixing concrete and mortar
  • Using hand tools, power tools and small plant safely
  • Setting out basic works and working to required levels
  • Preparing work areas, materials and equipment in advance
  • Collecting and delivering materials when required
  • Keeping the site clean, safe and well organised
  • Identifying problems and reporting them promptly to the Site Foreman
  • Taking pride in the quality and finish of completed work

About you

The successful candidate will be practical, reliable and comfortable working independently when required, as well as being a supportive member of the wider team. You will need:

  • Previous experience in landscaping, groundworks or a similar construction role
  • Practical experience in areas such as paving, footings, fencing, drainage or concrete work
  • Confidence using relevant hand tools, power tools and small plant
  • The ability to follow drawings, instructions, measurements and levels
  • A good understanding of site health and safety
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A punctual, dependable and proactive approach
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • The physical fitness required for a demanding outdoor role in all weather conditions
