We're supporting a leading property management firm in recruiting a Senior Property Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of flats and houses for one of their institutional investors. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your career to the next level, working across a Single Family Housing portfolio with the support of a dedicated national Build to Rent team. You'll be hands-on in maintaining high-quality homes, building strong professional relationships, and contributing to thriving communities.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing AST tenancies and some small blocks, joining a team of 10 within a busy Sales and Lettings office in York.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct six-monthly property inspections across the SFH portfolio
  • Identify and report maintenance, health & safety, and compliance issues
  • Coordinate and conduct tenant move-ins, check-ins, and check-outs
  • Complete and review inventory checks at the start and end of tenancies
  • Ensure properties are presented to a high standard prior to occupancy
  • Compare check-out conditions against inventories and report damages or issues
  • Liaise with contractors, tenants, and internal teams as required
  • Maintain accurate inspection notes, reports, and records on property systems

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a client-facing property management role
  • Background in PRS, Single-Family Housing, Multi-Family Build-to-Rent, or a leading lettings agency
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage workload independently
  • Strong problem-solving ability, professional and collaborative approach
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Block management experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
