We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Valuation Surveyor to join our growing team in Leeds. This is a hybrid, client-facing role covering a diverse portfolio of commercial assets across Yorkshire and the wider North of England.
You'll deliver high-quality Red Book valuations for a range of purposes - from secured lending and investment acquisition to rent reviews and tax-related instructions - while building strong client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the valuation team.
What you'll be doing:
- Undertaking RICS Red Book valuations across office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use commercial assets
- Preparing detailed valuation reports for secured lending, investment, and asset management purposes
- Conducting site inspections, reviewing occupational leases, and analysing local market evidence
- Advising clients on rent reviews, lease renewals, and property investment strategy
- Managing your own caseload efficiently, meeting client deadlines and quality standards
- Contributing to business development, client retention, and team fee targets
- Mentoring junior surveyors and supporting their APC journey where applicable
What we're looking for:
- MRICS qualified (minimum 2 years PQE preferred) or actively working towards APC
- RICS Registered Valuer status (or eligibility to register)
- Solid experience valuing commercial property - office, retail, industrial and/or development land
- Strong knowledge of the Yorkshire commercial property market
- Excellent report writing skills with high attention to detail
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, able to manage your own workload and meet deadlines independently
- Full UK driving licence
