Join National Express as a Professional Coach Driver, based at our Bournemouth depot. We’re looking for experienced PCV licence holders to deliver outstanding customer service while safely transporting passengers across our coach network.
Our current pay rate: £15.88 per hour basic pay. Additional allowances include unsociable hours (where applicable) and paid breaks.
Location: Bournemouth
Operational Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week, plus overtime opportunities. Shifts will cover 24 hours although there would be a rare expectation to stop out overnight. Schedule: 5-on-3-off shift pattern, with some variation. The rota consists of early, middle and late shifts.
What you’ll need:
- Full UK PCV licence (Category D)
- Proven experience driving PCV Vehicles
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Minimum age: 21
- Ability to handle passenger luggage
Training & development:
- CPC renewal and continuous training provided
- Paid medicals for CPC renewal
- Route learning, vehicle familiarisation, and specialist training in defensive driving and disability awareness
