A Health & Safety Consultancy business is currently looking to hire a newly qualified Health & Safety Advisor to join their prestigious, high-profile fast-growing team covering clients local to your area. The successful candidate will be trained in company procedures and documents, shadowing experienced safety members of the team to understand the needs of our various commercial clients across various sectors.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Attend various client sites and conduct Health & Safety risk assessments and audits
  • Providing bespoke Health and Safety documentation and management systems to our clients’ customers
  • Carry out and create Fire risk assessments
  • Carry out and create specific client risk assessments
  • Create Health & Safety compliance reports
  • Identify client requirements through surveying client premises
  • Conduct safety audits
  • Advise, guide and coach all personnel with the implementation of the Company Procedures
  • Ensure needs and expectations are met in accordance with their contracted services
  • Advise on all current occupational H&S legislation
  • Audits and Inspections of health & safety practices to be carried out across the business
  • Client training as required to their service and use of their Health and Safety management system

Knowledge, Experience and qualifications required:

  • Nebosh general cert (MUST)
  • Technical Consultancy knowledge/ newly qualified considered
  • Engaging Health and Safety Professional with excellent people skills and a can-do approach
  • Techiosh with a definitive CPD program
  • NEBOSH Fire, IFE/ IFSM Member (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adaptable team member
  • Nebosh fire and Nebosh construction would be of benefit
