An exciting opportunity for a number of Mobile Service Engineers has arisen to join a dynamic forward-thinking company based in Northamptonshire, specialising in assembly, maintenance and repair operations of access equipment on various Industrial sites across the UK.
Company: The established company is proud to provide a professional and efficient service to the Industrial, Construction and Built Environment sectors, with an excellent reputation for quality of care and customer service.
Role: You will be required to provide on-site installation, maintenance, and breakdown requests for service calls and when required on occasions work away from home. You will be able to work both on your own and as part of a team and will want to learn and grow in a dynamic and successful company.
Person: Successful candidates will have the ability to work safely at height, to use hand and heavy duty power tools in a safe and assured manner, have the confidence to communicate with site contractors and complete the appropriate paperwork. Experience/certification in any form of Mechanical & Electrical assembly would be an advantage but full product training will be provided.
Enthusiastic trainees with the right work ethic can apply. A full structural training plan will be provided to enable hard working individuals to achieve exceptional earning potential.
A valid driving licence is essential with a willingness to travel UK wide including London. The ability to work long hours and to stay away from home to meet business needs is important for this role to be a success. A valid CSCS card would also be desirable, but not essential as training can be provided to obtain a CSCS card on commencement of employment.
Applications are welcome for those looking to start their career or from those looking for a change in career. Ideally candidates will be based in Northamptonshire, East Midlands, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire or Leicestershire.
Competitive starting salary of up to £70K (includes travel and overtime) for those candidates with proven assembly experience and/or access equipment experience, qualifications and experience.
Competitive starting salary of £40K (includes travel and overtime) for trainees.
Minimum working hours of 40 hours per week plus paid travel time. Overtime is paid at time and a half Monday to Saturday, double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
New van provided for business use from first day of employment, 28 days holiday, PPE, company uniform, company credit card, fuel card, smart phone for business and personal use, contributory pension scheme and company profit share scheme.
