With recent investment in both technology and people, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a modern, growth‑oriented environment.\\nKey Purpose of the Role\\nProvide electrical and mechanical maintenance support to production plant and auxiliary equipment, maximising machine availability while ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.\\nCore Responsibilities\\nTypical Activities/Planned Maintenance\\nExecute tasks from the planned‑maintenance schedule; complete service sheets and highlight any follow‑up actions.\\nBreakdown Response\\nDiagnose and repair equipment faults, log actions taken, and advise the Engineering Supervisor/Chief Engineer of parts or additional downtime required.\\nSpare‑Parts Management\\nOrder and expedite parts when necessary to meet production deadlines.\\nContractor Management\\nAssist and oversee external engineers during machinery installation or service work, ensuring compliance with site safety rules and permit‑to‑work systems.\\nContinuous Improvement\\nContribute ideas to enhance equipment reliability and plant performance; attend on or off‑site training as required.\\nCompliance & Safety\\nMaintain personal and contractor adherence to all site Health, Safety, Hygiene and Quality procedures.\\nFlexibility\\nSupport overtime requirements, night‑shift rota and periodic shutdowns to meet business needs.\\nCandidate Profile\\nEssential:\\n * Recognised Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications\\n * Minimum 17th Edition IET Wiring Regulations\\n * Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment\\n * Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks and take ownership of results\\nDesirable:\\n * PLC fault‑finding/programming exposure\\n * Familiarity with print processing machinery or similar industrial equipment an advantage\\n * Continuous‑improvement mindset (e.g., Lean, TPM)\\nHours & Shift Pattern\\n * Rotating day shifts: 06:00 – 13:00 and 13:00 – 20:00, Monday–Friday\\n * Basic 35‑hour working week\\n * Overtime available at 1.5× (double‑time Saturdays 14:00 onwards & Sundays)\\nRewards & Benefits\\n * Competitive salary\\n * 26 days’ holiday plus 8 bank holidays\\n * Company‑contributory Personal Pension Scheme\\n * Ongoing professional training and development opportunities
