Summit Rec2Rec is partnered with a high-growth consultancy and executive search business looking to hire a Finance Manager to support the continued scaling and sophistication of its finance infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with approximately 3–5 years’ experience who is looking to join a fast-paced, commercially driven business operating across executive search, consulting, and talent solutions.

The business is open regarding industry background; however, candidates with experience operating within recruitment, staffing, consulting, professional services, or other high-growth environments will naturally align well with the pace and commercial nature of the role.

This position will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of a scaling recruitment and consulting business, partnering closely with leadership and operational teams to ensure strong financial governance, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing day-to-day finance operations across the business
  • Supporting monthly management accounts, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Overseeing contractor payment processes and client invoicing cycles
  • Managing commission calculations and revenue-share structures for fee-generating teams
  • Raising invoices and tracking receivables across multiple entities
  • Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Liaising with external accountants, vendors, suppliers, and third-party finance partners
  • Ensuring financial controls, compliance, and operational governance are maintained
  • Supporting cash flow management and revenue tracking across multiple business units
  • Managing multi-currency transactions including GBP and USD payments, FX treatment, and payment platforms
  • Partnering with leadership teams to improve financial processes and scalability
  • Assisting with budgeting, commercial analysis, and operational finance reporting
The Ideal Profile
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or finalist close to qualification)
  • 3–5 years’ relevant finance experience
  • Experience using Xero or QuickBooks
  • Strong Google Sheets and Excel capabilities
  • Comfortable working with commission structures, contractor payments, and revenue-share models
  • Experience working alongside external accountants and finance providers
  • Exposure to multi-entity bookkeeping environments
  • Familiarity with US corporate structures and international finance operations would be advantageous
  • Highly organised, discreet, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable operating independently and partnering directly with founders and senior leadership
  • Strong commercial awareness with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
