Our client is a globally recognised, boutique executive search firm operating exclusively on retained mandates β working with some of the world's most respected organisations to secure transformational senior leadership talent. With a strong international presence and a reputation built on precision, discretion, and genuine market expertise, this is a business where quality of work and quality of relationships sit at the centre of everything.
The Role
This is not a traditional EA or office manager position. As Business Support Executive, you will be embedded within a specialist search division, acting as the operational backbone for a team of Partners and Associates who are managing complex, senior-level retained mandates. Your role is to elevate the execution of every client and candidate touchpoint β from the materials that land on a CEO's desk to the seamless coordination of schedules across multiple time zones.
You will work closely with Partners to ensure client-facing deliverables are polished, consistent, and on-brand; coordinate complex diaries, travel, and scheduling; and act as a key liaison between clients and candidates throughout the search lifecycle. You'll also collaborate with the wider Business Support team to drive process improvements and bring a creative, solutions-oriented approach to how operational support is delivered at a senior level.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Managing complex internal and external calendars, scheduling, and international travel logistics
- Supporting the production of high-quality client-facing materials including pitch decks, presentations, and search documentation
- Acting as the liaison between clients, candidates, and the search team throughout the mandate process
- Owning the client and candidate experience for some of the firm's most senior and long-standing relationships
- Collaborating with the wider Business Support team to ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy of all materials
- Liaising with building management and ensuring the team is current on any operational policy updates
- Identifying and leveraging third-party platforms and tools to improve efficiency and streamline processes across the team
The Ideal Candidate
- Background in a marketing, business support, or operations function β ideally within a professional services, financial services, or executive search environment
- Exposure to third-party platforms and productivity/content tools that support senior stakeholder operations (you don't need to be a designer β you need to know what good looks like and how to get there efficiently)
- Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Confident communicator with a polished, professional manner β you will be representing the firm at the highest level
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable operating with discretion in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
- Genuine interest in the world of executive search and leadership advisory
What's on Offer
- A rare opportunity to work within a truly elite, globally respected executive search environment
- Exposure to C-suite stakeholders and some of the most complex and interesting leadership mandates in the market
- A collaborative, high-calibre team culture where operational excellence is genuinely valued
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- London-based, hybrid working
If you are a polished, commercially aware business support professional looking to take your career into a high-quality, purpose-driven environment, we would love to hear from you.
