Summit Rec2Rec is partnered with a high-performing international executive search and recruitment business looking to hire an Operations Director to support the next phase of its growth. This is a senior leadership opportunity suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced, scaling environments and understands how to build operational structure within a high-performance recruitment business.

The role will work closely with founders and senior leadership teams across multiple international markets, helping to optimise business performance, operational efficiency, people processes, and commercial delivery.

The ideal individual will come from either:

  • A recruitment, executive search, or staffing background
  • Or a professional services/business operations environment with strong exposure to scaling teams and operational infrastructure

This position will play a critical role in ensuring the business can continue to scale effectively whilst maintaining a high-performance, people-first culture.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operational performance across the business
  • Supporting leadership with strategic business planning and execution
  • Implementing and improving operational processes, systems, and workflows
  • Managing internal operations across talent, finance, reporting, compliance, and administration
  • Driving operational efficiencies to support revenue growth and business scalability
  • Supporting international coordination across UK and US-facing teams
  • Working closely with senior leadership on business-critical projects and expansion plans
  • Creating structure, accountability, and process optimisation across teams

The ideal profile:

  • Previous operational leadership experience within recruitment, executive search, staffing, or professional services
  • Strong commercial awareness and organisational capability
  • Experience supporting scaling or high-growth businesses
  • Highly proactive, solutions-focused, and operationally minded
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in entrepreneurial and fast-moving environments
