A purpose-led executive search firm is looking for a high-calibre Associate / Senior Associate to join their Research & Delivery team. This business partners with mission-driven organisations, investors, and senior leadership teams on C-suite and board-level mandates.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, analytical environment and wants exposure to senior executives, complex search work, and high-impact client delivery.
💼 The Role
You will play a key part in delivering retained executive search mandates, generating insights, mapping senior talent markets, and supporting clients and candidates throughout the search lifecycle. This is a frontline, research-driven, client-facing role with high responsibility and visibility.
🔍 What You’ll Do
Executive Research & Market Intelligence
- Build and execute research strategies for C-suite and senior leadership searches
- Perform deep market mapping: target companies, org charts, competitor analysis
- Produce clear, concise intelligence reports that shape search direction
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights
Candidate Engagement
- Identify and approach senior executives with professionalism and credibility
- Conduct structured screening conversations and contribute to candidate evaluation
- Prepare longlists and shortlists with high attention to detail
Client Delivery
- Support senior consultants during client briefings and progress meetings
- Present research findings, talent insights, and market analysis
- Maintain exceptional delivery standards across all active mandates
Business Development
- Support pitch preparation, including market overviews and insight packs
- Contribute to thought leadership, sector research, and marketing initiatives
- Identify research-led opportunities to strengthen client relationships
🎯 What You Bring
- 1-3+ years’ experience in executive search research, consulting, strategy, or a high-rigour professional services environment
- Strong research skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication; confident engaging senior leaders
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
- Analytical, curious, proactive, and committed to excellence
