This role will be based around Asbestos / Fire / Legionella whilst being Field Based (our offices are in Lewes too) and this is a full-time opportunity.

- Carry out asbestos, fire or Legionella assessments with technical accuracy and speed, always prioritising safety and compliance.
- Deliver clear, evidence-based reports that clients can trust to take action.
- Ensure every project meets or exceeds health and safety standards.

- Use your expertise to recommend practical, risk-reducing solutions for each client.
- Write clear, detailed specifications for remediation projects and confidently manage contractor activity.
- Cross-sell other Summit services only when they bring meaningful value to the client’s wider risk profile.

- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with clients, always acting as a trusted advisor.
- Represent Summit professionally at meetings, site visits and industry events.
- Communicate confidently and professionally with contractors, clients and colleagues.

- Take responsibility for developing your own client base and identifying new business opportunities.
- Proactively seek ways to improve services and efficiency across the business.
- Contribute to wider business discussions, from recruitment and mentoring to process improvement and company strategy.

Essential skills and experience due to the nature of the role
- Minimum 5 years in environmental surveying or consultancy.
- Relevant qualifications: P402/P403/P404/P405/NEBOSH Fire/P901.
- Proven business development and client relationship skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident with IT and report systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
Salary - 25-40k. Holiday 25 days plus Bank Holidays + Benefits.
