Salary: Β£36,000 – Β£42,000 + overtime (depending on experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday plus overtime and (optional) weekends

About Us

Summit Access & Consultancy is a specialist provider of fall protection, rope access, and height safety services, delivering installation, inspection, and maintenance works across the UK. We support a wide range of clients with safety critical solutions for working at height. Due to continued growth, we are now seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead and manage works on site.

The Role

This is a site based supervisory role for an experienced individual within the height safety sector. You will be responsible for overseeing fall protection works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will lead installation teams, coordinate day to day site activities, and act as the main point of contact between Summit Access & Consultancy, clients, and other contractors.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supervising fall protection and height safety works on site
  • Leading installation teams, including installers and trainees
  • Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with the safe system of work, manufacturer guidance, and industry standards
  • Carrying out or overseeing installation of safety lines, anchor systems, guardrails, ladders plus more
  • Coordinating rope access activities where required (desirable, but not essential)
  • Managing site safety, housekeeping, and permit requirements
  • Liaising with clients, principal contractors, and site management
  • Completing site documentation, reports, and QA records
  • Travelling to sites nationwide, with overnight stays when required

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in fall protection
  • Previous supervisory or team leading experience
  • Strong understanding of working at height regulations and safe systems of work
  • Confident managing operatives and maintaining site standards
  • Must live locally to the Stoke on Trent area
  • Age 25+ for insurance purposes
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CSCS card (essential)
  • SSSTS
  • Working at Height training
  • IPAF
  • PASMA
