We are looking for a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our nursery team at Summerside Kindergarten in our "Tweenie" room (2-3 year old). Hours can be discussed at interview, e.g. condensed hours and work 4 days out of 5, with a day off each week etc, we can be flexible if required.
Salary: To Be Confirmed Pay - Our recent pay review will be implemented in March 2026 and will be above the Real Living Wage at circa £13.70 per hour. We also close for two full weeks over Christmas and New Year.
The successful candidate would be responsible for assisting in the provision of a high standard of care for children placed within the nursery, and share in the responsibility of safeguarding and promoting their welfare, by providing a friendly, caring and relaxing environment in order to encourage and develop them.
The successful applicant will be fully qualified with an HNC, SVQ 3 or equivalent in Childcare. Excellent communication and literacy skills are required for the position.
All successful candidates will be required to complete a Disclosure Scotland Form before commencing their role, along with supplying two references.
