Job Title: Supervisor – Domestic Services
Responsibilities
- Cover housekeeping and domestic duties as required.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout SSL/Trust Hospital and Community sites.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels in all areas of hospital and community sites.
- Assist the Hotel Services Manager in the day‑to‑day running and organisation of the Domestic Services Department.
- Provide efficient, high‑standard domestic services as outlined in the Domestic Specifications and National Specifications.
- Oversee Domestic Assistants working in defined areas.
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and good housekeeping.
- Supervise and train hotel services support staff.
We are looking for a self‑motivated individual to join our Domestic Team. SSL works in partnership with Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) delivering facilities management, transport and other support services across the West Midlands.
We promote sustainability: staff are expected to support SSL in meeting our green objectives, minimise waste and contribute to our national carbon net zero targets.
