We have an exciting opportunity for a Domestic/Housekeeper to work in a dynamic environment providing high quality domestic services within the Tamarind Centre, which is an 89 bedded medium secure mental health hospital in the Bordesley Green area of Birmingham. Ideally, you will have experience of providing domestic and housekeeping services within an NHS environment and a sound understanding of infection prevention and control, COSHH, and current BICS registration.
Main duties of the job include:
- Responsible for providing high standards of cleanliness to a designated area/service under the supervision of the domestic supervisor.
- Safe use of mechanical and electrical equipment following appropriate training.
At SSL, we work in partnership with Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) to deliver facilities management, transport and other support services to over 50 sites across the West Midlands. Our team keeps expanding and since our establishment in 2012, we have grown rapidly through the acquisition of new sites and services.
