We are seeking a passionate and committed Year 4 Class Teacher to join Summerhill Academy, where you will deliver high-quality teaching across the primary curriculum and help every child develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed. About you:
- a qualified teacher or hold an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- able to deliver the primary curriculum effectively and consistently teach high-quality, well-structured lessons that promote strong progress and outcomes for all pupils.
- confident in meeting the needs of diverse learners, including pupils eligible for pupil premium, looked after children, those with SEND, EAL pupils and high-attaining learners.
- a reflective and adaptable practitioner, with secure subject and curriculum knowledge and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- a strong communicator, able to build positive, professional relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents, and contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school.
- committed to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment, underpinned by high expectations for behaviour, learning and personal development.
- able to recognise, value and support opportunities that extend beyond the classroom, enriching pupils' experiences and fostering a love of learning.
