Summerfield Browne Solicitors are commercial solicitors regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. We are a modern and progressive law firm operating a new legal services business model. What sets us apart from many other law firms is that we deliver legal services using a business model that utilises the best aspects of the traditional law firm while incorporating a flexible consultancy-based legal services model. This means that some of our solicitors are consultant solicitors who work remotely at various locations in England, and by using the latest IT technology, they can service our clients anywhere in England and Wales.
Candidates should be a Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE up to more senior level with strong skills and experience. We are looking for someone who is commercially minded and has strong business development and networking skills to help drive the business forward. You will need to have a solid grounding in a good range of Dispute Resolution gained at a respected firm and be keen to further strengthen the firm’s strong reputation in the area.
The role would suit an ambitious, commercially minded Solicitor looking for the challenge of working for a rapidly growing firm with excellent longer-term career prospects for the successful applicant. The workload will be varied and interesting, consisting of:
- Commercial and contractual disputes
- Professional negligence
- Property litigation
- Intellectual property disputes
- Shareholder disputes
- Building and construction disputes
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership skills
- A proven record of business development and converting your own work for yourself and others
- Experience of dealing with an interesting and varied caseload
- Able to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
- Excellent client management, organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Previous Associate Director experience is desirable but not essential
Working Days: Monday to Friday (flexible working is possible). We offer a competitive salary and excellent prospects.
