Summer View Hotel boasts 86 designer furnished guest rooms. It is ideally located in the heart of Singapore. Transport is facilitated by close proximity of Rochor MRT Station (3-minute walk) and easy availability of public transports (Bus and Taxi) to any part of Singapore.

You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene in public areas of the hotel, support housekeeping tasks, and provide courteous guest service to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Deep clean and maintain lobbies, corridors, public restrooms, elevators, and offices to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly to reduce the risk of contamination and replenish toiletries in restrooms to maintain guest comfort.
  • Vacuum or mop floors consistently to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Empty trash cans and dispose of refuse throughout the hotel to maintain cleanliness and order.
  • Place "wet floor" signs and handle cleaning chemicals safely to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues such as blown fuses or damaged furniture to the housekeeping department for timely repairs.
  • Assist the Housekeeping Department by pulling soiled linen to support efficient laundry operations.
  • Greet guests politely and assist with their requests while maintaining a professional appearance to enhance guest experience.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods and to lift, push, pull, and carry items to perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks effectively.
  • Reliability and attention to detail to maintain consistent cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently to complete assigned duties without constant supervision.
Preferred competencies and qualifications:
  • Prior experience in housekeeping is preferred but not required, as training is frequently provided.
